A native of South Carolina, Jeff is proud to continue the law practice that his grandfather helped found in 1950.
Jeffrey C. Moore (Jeff) took a circuitous route to the practice of law. After teaching English at the college and high school levels, he went back to law school in 2006, with the goal of eventually practicing law with his grandfather, Gaines. Upon graduation from law school, Gaines welcomed Jeff into the practice, where the two of them worked together until Gaines’ death in 2017. During that time, Jeff not only gained valuable instruction into how to practice law, but he also learned how the practice of law had changed over the years. He decided that he wanted to carry on his grandfather’s legacy by honoring the traditions of the past in the context of a modern law practice.
A native of South Carolina, Jeff is proud to continue the law practice that his grandfather helped found in 1950. He has maintained the firm as a broad general practice, and advises clients on a wide range of legal issues. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English prior to enrolling in law school at the Charleston School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Charleston Law Review and graduated with honors in 2010. He has appeared on behalf of clients at every level of the South Carolina court system, from municipal courts all the way to the South Carolina Supreme Court.
In his free time, Jeff enjoys playing golf, brewing beer (sometimes successfully), and spending time with his wife, two children, and their pets.
